Do I have to pay to register my product on the EU DPP Registry?
No, registering your product in the EU Digital Product Passport Registry is free of charge - there's no fee to submit a passport, only the work of preparing accurate product data. Note this is separate from this Demo Generator, which is a free preview tool and not connected to the official Registry.
Is this a real, registered Digital Product Passport?
No. This is a demo/mock-up for illustration only - it's not registered with the EU DPP Registry and carries no legal or compliance weight. Use it to preview how your product data could look, not as a compliance deliverable.
How does sharing work if there's no server?
Your product details are encoded directly into the link itself. Opening that link rebuilds the exact same preview in the other person's browser - nothing is stored on our servers.
This tool runs entirely in your browser - your product details aren't sent anywhere or stored on our servers. Refreshing the page without a share link resets the form.
