Delegated act expected 2028
Domestic and office furniture is part of the first ESPR Working Plan. Its delegated act is expected around the same time as a scheduled mid-term review of the whole ESPR programme, which can reshuffle priorities or add new product groups.
What a furniture passport is expected to cover
- Material composition: wood, textile, metal and foam origin
- Durability and structural-testing standards met
- Reparability: spare-part availability and disassembly instructions
- Recycled-content share
- Presence of substances of concern
- Take-back and recycling routes at end of life
Where it stands
A delegated act for furniture is expected around 2028, coinciding with the ESPR's scheduled mid-term review. See the full rollout timeline →
